Ashley and Dan’s wedding was in the beautiful North Scottsdale desert at Troon North. The desert views from this venue are nothing short of amazing. And these two brought the lovely cloudy weather from their engagement session to their wedding day. Making for some amazing and unique desert portraits.
Ashley and Dan met through mutual friends in San Diego. They bonded over traveling, being foodies, and their love for the outdoors. Dan popped the question to Ashley two years ago on Thanksgiving. In the midst of planning their wedding, they had their adorable son Abraham. So, naturally, he was their best man.
These two were rays of sunshine on this cloudy day. There smiles stretched from ear to ear from the moment of their first look and throughout the rest of the day. During the ceremony these two were full of happy tears. Their officiant read a love poem by Rumi in both Farsi and English just before they read their vows to each other. After they exchanged vows and rings, they were officially husband and wife!
Ashley & Dan stopped into cocktail hour briefly before we went to the lookout for sunset pictures. They were overwhelmed with the amount of love and congratulations their guests had for them. After some amazing sunset pictures, it was time for the reception!
They started the reception with a dance surrounded by their family and friends. Then they shared their first dance together as husband and wife before dinner was served. After dinner, it was time to get the party started. The playlist for the night was full of a great mix Persian songs and Rap/R&B from the 90s and 2000s. The dance floor was packed all night!
Ashley and Dan, I am so happy that you two are now husband and wife! It is undeniable how much you love and care for each other. I wish you two and Abraham all of the happiness and love in the years to come.
