I have attended a few Showit United conferences, and this year was so much fun! Showit is a conference for photographers held in my backyard here in Arizona. (Ok, not literally my backyard, but just across town vs across the country!) Ever year in addition to learning from some of the best photographers in a typical speaker and audience setting, we got to learn from other photographers during styled shoots. The photographers will set up a photo session with couples and fabulous attire. And we get to watch them photograph the couples and photograph them ourselves! When I heard that there was going to be a multicultural styled wedding this year, I was so excited!!! I love of the multicultural weddings I have photographed and was excited to experience more wedding cultures.
Our second couple was Valerie and Tej for a Chinese and Latin American multicultural wedding. Tej’s suit was a classic black suit from The Groomsman Suit. The bride’s first dress was a white wedding dress ala Crazy Rich Asians by Svetika Haute Couture. Valerie’s second dress was a traditional red Chinese qipao.
