Lizzy and Andy won an engagement session with me!  I wanted to find a way for us to keep cool during this summer engagement.  So, I thought an ice cream parlor would be perfect!  I choose Petersen’s Ice Cream & Cafe because it had that classic ice cream parlor feel.  It is also a small, family owned business, which is always a bonus!  When we met at Petersen’s in Downtown Gilbert, Lizzy realized that Petersen’s is from Chicago.  She was super excited, because she is also from Chicago.  They even had a “Chicago Pothole” ice cream flavor.

Lizzy and Andy met when they both started working at Subway together!  They love the traditional dinner and a movie date nights (same!).  And when they are not watching movies together or hanging out with friends, they love playing with their dog Molly!  Lizzy and Andy also mentioned that they love eating together.  Which makes sense, because they met at Subway!  So, I love that we choose an ice cream session for them even more!
