Lauren and Matt’s wedding was in the ever gorgeous downtown Flagstaff.  They planned to have their ceremony on the lawn of the courthouse, but the weather had other plans.  Luckily, these two had a resourceful bunch supporting them.  With a little flexibility and resilience, their wedding still went off without a hitch!

Lauren and Matt have been together for 8 years and call Flagstaff home.  When they not playing with their quirky pup Frankie, they love heading to downtown Flagstaff to grab a coffee or a craft beer.  It was only natural that they were planning a fall wedding in downtown Flagstaff!

When their wedding day came, the forecast and skies said ‘rain’.  But that could not dampen their spirits.  We had planned to meet for their first look at the courthouse.  Luckily, there was a covered area to keep us dry.  After Lauren and Matt’s first look we grabbed the umbrellas and went to the courthouse lawn for some amazing rainy day pictures!  While we were taking pictures, their amazing bridal party was setting up and rehearsing for the ceremony under the covered area at the courthouse.  After the bridal part pictures, the rain let up for a few minutes and I grabbed Lauren and Matt to take some photos in front of a maple tree with gorgeous red leaves.

Before we knew it, it was time for the wedding ceremony!  Lauren and Matt’s ceremony was short, sweet, and full of laughs and happy tears.  After the ceremony the bridal party and some guests walked down the street to grab a drink at Lauren and Matt’s favorite bar, Rendezvous.  But first, Lauren had to put on her amazing “Mrs. Uno” denim jacket!

The reception was held at The Toasted Owl, a quirkey cafe where everything is owl themed and you can buy literally anything in the building!  During the reception there were heartfelt toasts, a fun first dance, and parent dances.  Instead of a cake, they had donuts displayed on a donut wall that the bride and her dad made!  Lauren and Matt danced the rest of the night away with their guest.

Lauren and Matt, I hope that you have an amazing and happy marriage surrounded by the love of your amazing friends and family.  And many amazing date nights at Rendezvous!
