April and Dustin’s engagement session was at Cathedral Rock in Sedona.  They knew that they wanted to travel up to Sedona for their engagement session.  I was so excited when they choose Cathedral Rock for their location.  The views of the red rocks of the Sedona valley are so epic here!  There are amazing views of Cathedral Rock.  But, you can also see The Mermaid, Courthouse Vista, and a bit of Bell Rock!  It is the perfect location for an epic engagement session without too much of a crazy adventure.

April and Dustin met in high school, but didn’t start dating until they reconnected on Facebook.  And the rest is now history!  These two were all smiles and laughing during their engagement session.  Really!  Because, they kept cracking jokes at each other.  I didn’t even have to pull out my lame dad jokes!  We started the session at the bottom of the canyon in my favorite wash.  (It’s normal to have a favorite wash, right?)  Then we treked up the trail until it opened up to beautiful views of Cathedral Rock.

While we were exploring around taking pictures, a guy walked up to us and told us he was going to propose to his girlfriend!  He asked if we could record it on his phone, and of course we said yes!  How fun was it that we got to see an engagement on their engagement session?!  After some more pictures with the epic view of the Sedona Valley, we started to head back down the trail.  Then, the sun started to peak out of the clouds, and we just had to stop to capture that glow!
