We're Amber & Josh, a Harry Potter obsessed wedding and brand photographery and videography team for those who are anything but ordinary based in Phoenix, Arizona.
When we don't have our cameras in hand, you can find us hiking, snuggling our daughter and pups, or planning our next Disney trip.
Dee and Monica had their elopement at Moran Point at the edge of the Grand Canyon. Dee and Monica fell in love at the Grand Canyon. They knew this would be the perfect place to start their lives together as wife and wife. Their families joined them on the edge of the canyon on windy July evening to celebrate and support their love for each other. As the sunset behind a monsoon storm, they exchanged personal vows and their first kiss.
Divina and Frank had an amazing Renaissance themed wedding at the Arizona Nordic Village in Flagstaff, Arizona. This is a cute little venue just West of Flagstaff. They have yurts and cabins for the wedding party to get ready in and for guests to stay overnight. The ceremony spot is a short walk through the pine trees to a grove of aspen trees. Divina wore gorgeous fairy wings with their wedding dress. And Frank and his groomsmen were decked out in Medieval inspired outfits.
Christie & Nelson were planning to get married in Hawaii in 2020. Then covid happened and they had to postpone their plans… multiple times… They decided to elope in the woods of their home state in Colorado, just the two of them. But, they still wanted to celebrate with their family before their big wedding in Hawaii (now almost two years away!). So, they put together and intimate backyard wedding at Christie’s parent’s house in Gilbert over their Christmas holiday. An intimate affair with a Boho/Moroccan feel.
Josh and I are huge fans of Harry Potter. So, we were so excited to finally put together a styled wedding inspired by Harry Potter! When I reached out to Paige from Front Paige Events and she wanted to put it all together with me, I was even more excited! This was a winter wedding, so we decided on a jewel toned styled color pallet. We were able to lock down Sunkist Warehouse for our venue! I absolutely loved the old brick walls and the giant metal rafters. It was the perfect backdrop for the ceremony where the altar was a garland strung in the air by magic! We had custom Harry Potter themed drinks at the bar. And a dessert table with treats inspired by the books. One of my fav details was the head boy pin the groom wore! Ok, without further ado, here are the pictures!!!
Constance and Tim were going to the courthouse to elope before their official wedding (that was postponed due to covid). I was so excited when they asked me to do a session for them at Papago Park on their way to the courthouse. They wanted to celebrate not only their marriage but their engagement pregnancy too!
Jordan and Nick were married at the Secret Garden Events Center in Phoenix, Arizona. This venue is seriously a secret garden tucked in the middle of the city. There is a historic home at the venue surrounded by lush green trees and bushes. Not to mention the amazing shade tree Jordan and Nick had their ceremony under. Or the amazing Spanish style staircase that was a perfect backdrop for portraits!
Kelsey and Shawn got married at the historic Van Dickson Ranch in Skull Valley this fall. The Van Dickson Ranch was homesteaded over 100 years ago in 1906. The ceremony area is in a gassy field, surrounded by groves of oak, cottonwood, and walnut trees. Surrounding the ceremony area is an amazing mountain backdrop. A quick ride across the polo field in a golf cart will brings you to the open air reception Ramada, to party the night away.
Aimee and Dustin got married at the Chapel of the Holy Dove in Flagstaff, Arizona. This tiny little chapel is up in the beautiful pines of Flagstaff, just past Snowbowl. It is a super quaint little chapel with amazing views of the pine forests where you make reservations by posting a note on the wall of the chapel!
Heather and Nick were another one of those 2020 couples who had to jump so many hurdles to get married. They were supposed to get married in April of 2020 and had to postpone their wedding due to the gathering mandates that were announce just 3 weeks before their wedding. By the fall, they were just so ready to be married. They decided to plan a small micro wedding to officially tie the knot.
