Kelly & Stevens wedding was way worth the drive from Phoenix. And way worth the trip from the East Coast for most of their guests. This was my first time in Bisbee, and it definitely won’t be my last.
Kelly & Steven had a super sweet intimate wedding the old town of Bisbee. Most of their guests stayed with them at the same hotel. It had rained earlier in the morning, but cleared up just in time for us to start their pictures. We did a first look in the back courtyard of their hotel. After a few moment alone, we grabbed the bridal party and headed down the streets of Bisbee. We had a blast walking around the streets to find cute vintage areas to take pictures. There are so many exposed brick buildings, I was in heaven! We dropped off the bridal party and headed down to the main street and a hidden alley way for some great very Bibee feeling images. After main street, we set off to get pictures with some angel sculptures Kelly & Steven had found during their visit.
After a bit of wondering around it was time to get married! They got married in a church that was over 200 years old. It was absolutely gorgeous!
After the heartfelt and tearful ceremony, it was time for a few more bride and groom portraits while the guests walked down the street to the reception. We could hear thunder in the background the whole time. As we finished the last picture, it started to sprinkle on us! Talk about perfect timing.
We ran down to the reception venue, and by the time we got there it was full on raining. Luckily there was a backup location for the outdoor reception, and the party moved into the bar area. That didn’t stop the band from preforming either. They grabbed a little guitar and a keyboard and belted their songs from a stairway. Everyone was in great spirits through out the night.
